About ToolSec

ToolSec is a free collection of online tools for security engineers, network administrators, developers and DevOps teams. Our goal is simple: provide fast, accurate, privacy-respecting utilities you need every day — from calculating subnets and generating hashes to decoding JWTs and creating strong passwords.

Privacy by default

Every tool on ToolSec runs entirely in JavaScript inside your browser. The data you enter — IP addresses, passwords, tokens, text — is never sent to our servers. You can verify this by opening the Network tab in your browser's DevTools: you will not see any request containing what you typed.

Why we built it

Many similar tools are cluttered with distracting ads, load slowly, or worse, send sensitive data to a server. We wanted a toolkit that loads instantly, works even offline after the first visit, and clearly explains each concept so you don't just get a result — you understand it.

How we keep it free

The site is supported by display advertising and a few referral links to related products. This keeps every tool free for everyone. See our Privacy Policy for details about cookies and ads.
